Last year Operators expressed their intentions to stepdescribe the image up drilling activity in the Eagle Ford Shale formation, and true to their word, drilling rigs in the area have doubled from March 2010 to March 2011. This growth is expected to continue throughout 2011...

So what is your plan to capitalize on this sudden growth?

  • Have you recently been awarded contracts with Operators in the area?
  • Do you have assets or equipment you could rent out for job sites?
  • What services can you provide to customers in the area that you aren’t right now?

This sudden growth has increased the demand for equipment, services and personnel, and the need is only going to continue to grow. You need the ability to spend more time running your business, than managing it and its data.

With any high-growth company, come inevitable growing pains. It’s time to take a look and see how your existing systems are handling your billing, payroll, rentals, dispatch and job costing. These are all things that will be even more important as your projects continue to increase in size. Is it all under one system, or are you using a few different disconnected systems, spreadsheets or databases to manage different aspects of your energy services business?
