Last month, VistaVu attended the Global Petroleum Show held (GPS) here in Calgary. The sun was shining, the weather was warm, and the trade show floor was busy.
Angus Cowan, our Vice President of Strategic Partnerships said he was impressed by the volume of international representation from countries like India, China, Kuwait and Mexico, and even other provinces and several states. “They really brought a lot of optimism to the conversations, which was great to hear,” Angus said.
For Conrad Chan, one of our Strategic Account Managers, it was a great opportunity to meet new people. “It’s hard to build relationships with people digitally. There’s nothing better than face to face meetings and the GPS is a great venue for this.”
It was also a great place to learn about the industry. The equipment displays were impressive; full plasm cutting machines, mobile generators, pumps, transmissions, drilling components, valves and so much more. And of course, some of the best foods of the city were to be had from local food trucks that serviced the show. All round, it was a great event and we’re glad we attended. See you next year!
